What a great Hot Stuff last week :D we had a record number of votes, and it’s another great line up this week. Vote for your favourite in the comments, voting closes on Thursday morning, in the wee small hours if you’re in the US of A. The winner will receive an ‘I’m Hot Stuff’ award and the envy of us all!

Babysitting

Ten tips for babysitting from a parent and former sitter, Sandy sent this one in to parent hacks. When I was a young teen I did a fair bit of babysitting myself. Numbers five, nine and ten would definitely make my list now that I am a parent, I just need to find a responsible teen :)
Sickness

Sickness seems to be a hot topic at the moment. Vicky of Little Legends has ten tips for dealing with sickness *and* children simultaneously. Number 10. Now that’s what I would do :)
Money

Highlighted by Megin and coming from one of my favourite blogs, 23 ways to improve your finances (in a weekend) over at The Simple Dollar.

50 ways to save money on your grocery bill by Thrifty Mommy has been nominated by Megin. I cut my grocery bill by around 20% (not to mention what I save in time) from doing it online and getting it delivered, and that is taking the delivery cost into consideration!

Work/Life Balance

Career and Kids
has a great post on transitioning between work time and family time.

Positive Parenting

Yes, yes, yes. Be a good dad is talking about the power of yes. A nice reminder for us all, I think :)
Random Hot Stuff :)

Stu has nominated this amazing folding chair. I so need one of these for that once a year occasion when you decide to invite way more people than you have space for (aka Christmas, Thanksgiving…)

Barb has nominated this video of a kitten who is struggling with her (?) first words, all say aaahhhh
