It’s time again to read the nominations for this week’s Hot Stuff Award! We have some exceptional nominations this week. I love this GNMParents feature because it introduces me to your internet. I spend a few moments meeting new writers and reading the posts that you’ve decided should be shared with our community! Thank you for participating and bringing your internet to us!
Jodi at Looking Beyond the Cracked Window shared an hours worth of conversation that explains Why Nothing Gets Accomplished in her home. It’s funny and girl, I can relate. A personal favorite: “What was that? Why is there cereal in the toilet? Nevermind I don’t want to know.”
Leah at Mama Dharma shares her vision of “it takes a village” in her Mommune Manifesto. It’s a passionate and beautiful description of her dream. The heart behind the post is kind of what fuels GNMParents. While we can’t exactly share household responsibilities, we can certainly “bring our own unique skills and talents into the mix” and “have the opportunity to constantly teach and learn from one another.” This is what it’s all about!
Carrien at She Laughs at the Days exposes how her real life differs from how she envisioned motherhood. Help is starkly honest and speaks to the inner strength that we can pull on to be a good parent. It’s about not being perfect. It’s about overcoming the demons.
It’s a great day to laugh… even in sheer disgust, and Crystal brings us there! On her blog Boobs, Injuries, and Dr. Pepper, she talks about poop and turkey decapitation. Outdone: is superbly funny and very gross.
Read, vote, share the love:
