With summer in full swing, crazed parent has been spending lots of time planning activities and adventures for her family. Her post Summer Vacation: Survival of the Mommiest offers a lot of great resources for filling up a long day. The comments also add a lot to this post. Check it out!

Ari had me laughing as I read Respect Mah Authoritah, Even When I’m On The Toilet. You gotta love some potty humor. The only time the bathroom door in my house is closed is when no one’s in there! When we have company, I have to remind myself to close it.

While we’re on the topic of peeing, William shares a “no he didn’t!” moment with his post Clean. This is one of those stories where you figure out the ending a split second before you actually read the words… and yet you cringe when you read them anyway.

Along the same laugh line, Sam’s son is pushing his Daddy’s buttons. Her post (if they can say this word on tv, then I can say it here, right?) bitch! say my name! is funny! My favorite line? “Even when we’re doing it?”

Ashley’s Because I am a Better Parent Than You will have you nodding your head. There are times on this adventure that we know intellectually how to handle a challenging situation, yet we still fall off the emotional side of the mountain anyway.
